After a few years learning, my fascination with the particular nature of Xuan paper (see Wikipedia) as used in conventional painting led me to explore new ways to paint contemporary themes. As a self-taught artist, my working method involves extensive experimenting, testing and developing new techniques. This results in creating images distinctively my own. The approach is broad through more than 10 years of practice, spanning from realistic, to semi-abstract, and abstract.
