I started painting in1998 and have over time refined my skills by attending workshops and demonstrations by well known Australian Artist whose talent and enthusiasm and guidance over the years have imspired me to develop my own style of painting.
I work in oils and acrylic.
I am an active member of Oatley Art Society, Combined Art Societies of Sydney. I exhibit my art work in both these Art Societies.
I also exhibit in the Royal Easter Show, Portland Art Exhibition, Kings, Art of Sydney and Ardency and many more.
I have won awards from First, Second, Highly Commended, Commended,Finalisit in most of these Exhibitions.
I have also won this year Second at the Royal Easter Show for Miniatures
First, Second, HighlyCommended, Finalists for Miniatures in the above Exhibitions.
Most of my work is done plein air, I love getting out and painting our beautiful country and I often go on wonderful painting trips with artist friends. |
