ARTIST BIO

Born and bred in Tropical North Queensland, I have been painting for over twenty years with a range of mediums including watercolour, pastel and acrylic. Recently I have discovered a love for pen and ink which has encouraged me to apply a modern approach to my experience with art technique. I enjoy the process of forming a picture from intricate lines and details, combined with the challenge of capturing movement and emotion in my images. I describe the process as "taking a line for a walk". My repertoire focuses on wildlife drawing which I explore through realism and detail.
