ARTIST BIO

Anne Taylor is a hobby artist and paints when she has the time from the many activiites in which she is involved. She is in her fourth and final year as President of the Pastel Society of Victoria, Australia (PSVA). For ten years Anne has been the Editor of the VicPastel News, the PSVA Newsletter which has evolved into a 28-page magazine as she has an innate need to keep teaching. This publication allows her to give the readers articles of art history, local and oversoeas artists; pastel paiinting techniques, and of course all the necessary information about and for the PSVA members.  She has won many prizes for her pastel painting but does not make this her ambition as she enjoys gardening, singing in a choir and keeping her brain active with being a Speaker Seeker for a Probus Club and attends six classes in U3A. She lives in Emerald with her husband and is carer for her son who has had a brain tumour.
